    Story
    "narrator brings characters to life"
What did you love best about When Last I Died?

the narrator, she is really wasted on the thin story line

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

too convoluted, too many twists in the plot that strain one's credulity, a bit more straightforward action would have been better

Have you listened to any of Patience Tomlinson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    no

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    no

    Any additional comments?

The heroine, Mrs Bradley, is depicted as a very clever woman. Then why does she make the most awful mistakes? Apart from that, it's a nice enough book, but not one I should like to read twice.

"A little slow but worth it in the end"

This is my first encounter with Gladys Mitchell's work. I found the story a little slow to get started and it to a while to engage with it. However, I felt it was worth persevering to the end. I found the narration a little slow, but generally OK.
