    "Psychological & Physical Intrigue!"
What did you love best about What She Saw?

This story is both a psychological and physical thriller with constant twists and turns. Every time I thought I knew what to expect I was wrong by a mile. Interesting concept, engaging characters, constant intrigue, and having it include handwriting analysis, which is a great interest of mine, was a big bonus.

    "Awesome story! Awesome listening experience!"
What made the experience of listening to What She Saw the most enjoyable?

The main character immediately pulled me in as the psychological expense built. Aria's narration of Jen's journey to discover who she was and what happened made me feel that I was hearing and feeling Jen's thoughts and emotions.

What other book might you compare What She Saw to and why?

Poison Pen.. I love forensic mysteries.

Have you listened to any of Aria McKenna’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    No

    "Twists at every turn ..."
Where does What She Saw rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is in the top 20 or so. I would listen to this one again!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes! Without giving anything away I didn't see a lot of the twists and turns coming.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Again without giving anything away it was when the lead female character found out who she was.

    Any additional comments?

After listening to this story, I am interested in listening to other stories in the "Forensic Handwriting Series".

    "A Pleasant Surprise"

Maybe not great literature, but a nice twist on familiar amnesiac stories, with enjoyable characters and plenty of suspense. I didn't know what to expect, having never heard of the author, but I'm impressed with this effort and will look for more. Narration is also very well done. A good investment of a credit!

    "Mispronunciation of character name unprofessional."

Probably my least favorite audiobook. If you're going to develop a Vietnamese character, at least check the pronunciation. The name "Nguyen" is pronounced "Nwen" or "Nwin" NOT "Na-guy-en" the story was trite and predictable, the narrator was over dramatic.

    "Intense story, well-narrated"
What did you love best about What She Saw?

The opening scenes immediately drew into the frightening experience of waking in a strange place with no memory and no identity. Sheila Lowe does an excellent job of portraying Jen's emotions in intimate detail.

What did you like best about this story?

The author sustains emotional intensity and suspense from beginning to end. I could identify with Jen's confusion and fear, even though I've never shared her experience.

What about Aria McKenna’s performance did you like?

McKenna gives the reading the emotional intensity and resonance the story deserves.

    "This is a great mystery!"
What did you love best about What She Saw?

It had me on the edge of my seat/coming back for more each day.

What did you like best about this story?

It takes place in Ventura County, so you hear of familiar places.

What does Aria McKenna bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Aria brings life to the characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Nobody is who you think they are!

"A nice twist on the familiar amnesiac story."
Is there anything you would change about this book?

What She Saw is part of the Forensic Handwriting Mystery Series. Not having ever read or listened to a previous story in this series, I wish I had. I know little about handwriting analysis and it seems like the writer took for granted that we already know how someone’s behaviors and personality can be interpreted through one’s handwriting style.

    Any additional comments?

The premise of the story was really good, and it was a nice twist on the familiar amnesiac story. The characters were enjoyable and it included plenty of suspense. Most of all, I was impressed by Aria McKenna’s narration. It was very well done, giving life to the characters.

Now I just have to find the time to go and listen to Sheila Lowe’s backlist in the Forensic Handwriting Mystery Series!

    "Brillint myustery thriller."
What made the experience of listening to What She Saw the most enjoyable?

This is the first audiobook I have listened to by this talented author and straight away I found myself drawn in by its brilliant opening.

Imagine the terror of finding yourself on a train, not knowing how you got there, or who you are. Who are the people around you, do they know you? Where are you going, and why? A myriad of questions which your brain cannot answer, because it just doesn’t know. All you know is that you have to find the answers, but how?

The story which unfolds is utterly absorbing as she struggles to piece together her life and the events which have caused her amnesia. However, as she uncovers mysteries and discovers answers, it soon becomes apparent that there are no simple answers, and that things and people are not necessarily as they seem.

What about Aria McKenna’s performance did you like?

The narrator, Aria McKenna brings out the characters and her wonderful voice compliments a storyline guaranteed to keep you guessing right until the very end.

    Any additional comments?

One of the cleverest mysteries I have ever listened to with an exciting, yet not confusing plot.
