    "Another great listen by Connelly"

The only disappointment was it ended too soon -- I hope he brings Cassie Black back in another story. If you like his Bosch series, this is another must!

Once again a grate book from Connelly
And with Ganser as narrator it just has to be good..

"disappointing - story never got off the ground ..."

... The narrator was probably the main culprit. I don't get it - I really enjoy Michael Connelly's stories, but some of the narrators chosen for his books are simply awful (and many reviewers have commented on this) and spoil the story. With a big name like his he should be able yo get the best narrators - who chooses them???? Anyway, I would have given up after the first few hours if it hadn't been a Connelly book - I had hoped it would finally come to life. But It never quite did! The storyline is actually very interesting and clever but the narrator really killed this one for me, and the description of the details of the caper are tedious, and in the end i really could't care less what happened to the characters.

I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!

    "Excellent!"

I have a very long drive every day and this book made it seem like 15 minutes each way. The narrarator was excellent and the book clearly written with great build and flow. The descriptions of Vegas and LA were spot on and accurate (I work in LA where some of the story took place). I was sorry it was over tonight. I need another great listen. Connelly is a new favorite of mine!

    "Excellent Writing"

Michael Connelly writes an interseting tale and develops excellent characters and dialog which is very different than the Bosch books.

This book was written in late 1990's (published 2000) and the book's reference to technology was state of the art at the time of the writing. Regardless of this, I still found the theft techniques pretty cool!

The story moved along and held my attention til the end. The story is a bit of a tragedy and you will not have a happy feeling of hero riding off in the sunset in the end.

What made the experience of listening to Void Moon the most enjoyable?

While somethings in the plot were could be predicted, it was a great listen. The characters were fully developed and you could almost smell the scenes painted by the author. I'll be reading lost more from this author

    "Astro & crime"

It was a kind of funny to have a mix of crime & astrology theme in one book, but it worked well. Characters that are believable, excellent narration. Connelly in his best.
