The bodies are found in towns and cities around Puget Sound. The young women who are the victims had nothing in common... except the agony of their final moments. But somebody carefully chose them to stalk, capture, and torture - a depraved killer whose cunning is matched only by the depth of his bloodlust. But the dying has only just begun. And the next victim will be the most shocking of all.

Thoroughly enjoyed the story but the narration drove me to distraction. The main voice sounded good but all the other characters sounded very nasal and like children. This is a book better read from a hard copy rather than audio.
The narration was the worst I think I have ever listened to. The main character was good but when he did the other characters it was painful. The story jumped around and some of the characters were written as if they had no brain whatsoever.
With out a doubt. I thought it was such a good book.
I thought he did a Great job with the whole book. His portrayal of the one Canadian father was a little Over the top but other then that I thought it was excellent. His narration of the male antagonist was Perfect! I will listen to other books narrated by him.
I really liked this book. Yes, the listener knows who the culprits are almost right from the beginning but I thought that added to the suspense. I did mot think this was predictable in any way and each time a new victim was taken i found myself hoping that one would get away. Each was different but likable. You listen to the gruesome details and the next scene depicts them interacting "normally", taking their child to school and talking to family (who just so happens to be the reporter covering the murders). The conclusion leaves you with a foreboding feeling that makes you want to write in one more chapter and give it a happy ending. This does not in anyway spoil the book, very good and I will definitely purchase the next in the series.
The story was decent The way it was explained had people flashing back, forward and sideways. I couldn't keep the train of thought about whether I'd missed something or not. The Narrator was aweful. Everyone sounded the same. The woman sounded like gruff men who were being castrated. I almost didn't finish. The story was good but not thought through properly. Seemed like everything was thrown in all at once. Even the kids sounded like gruff hi pitched men. SMH..
Enjoyed the story. But had to read it in the end as the narration was just awful.
