vertical run

I found the story riviting, it kept me on the edge of my seat, and made my commute time fly. I was distracted by the background music and felt it unnessasary. I highly recommend this story for anyone that enjoys a good action adventure.

Vertical Run

A non stop action thriller that will keep you guessing. It is well read and acted by Stephen Lang and rates as one of the best audio books I have ever heard, and is an excellent abridgement of the book.

Great story

My husband and I have loved this story for quite a long time! Enjoyed hearing it again! We first listened to it on cassette tapes if that tells you how long age we listened to it!

A riveting Read!

Tightly woven plot, if not slightly implausible, but an excellent read, none the less. You will cheer for and fear for the good guy.

Editorial decisions were poor.

Love this novel, so to me the abridgement wasn't necessary or helpful. It's worth reading in its entirety. The music was often cheesy and intrusive. Great novel with poor editorial decisions made around it.

This is and always be my FAVORITE book

I LOVE this book- heck the whole series is fantastic. Hearing it was just as good as reading it, definitely a good read!

A tight page-turner!

I haven't heard the audiobook, but I read the paperback a few years ago. The book took me on a great ride, and I didn't want to stop reading until the last page. I am looking forward to his new book "Whirlwind" to come to audio format.

Would you consider the audio edition of Vertical Run to be better than the print version?

I am a Huge Audio Book fan for when I travel (salesman on the road) and i first heard this book 10 years ago through a rental book system. I purchased it here, and still listen to the full book 1 or 2 times a year. Perfectly written, great characters, plot, and the narration is absolutely the best.

What about Stephen Lang???s performance did you like?

Stephen Lang NAILED this performance with the characters, and the intonations I believe were meant for the book. 100% perfect
