    Story
    "Yawn"

I always look forward to new Stuart Woods books, particularly Stone Barrington books but lately they have not been as good. This story is not interesting. There are mutiple subplots that do not get woven together. The story is very predictable. Everything works perfectly for the main characters and gets done on a time scale that is impossible. There is no depth of feeling shown by any character and overall it is not very interesting to listen to. Sonte Barrington was almost a side character in the story and had little to add or perform. It's sad when one of your favorite authors and characters begins to wander off track.

    "Predictable, no plot"
What disappointed you about Unnatural Acts?

I agree with the other reviewers. I have read almost every Stuart Woods book, and enjoy the totally unrealistic but delightful stories. There was no plot to this story and Herbie went from being an idiot to the next Warren Buffett. This was a sloppy effort written to make a dollar.

Too predictable even for Woods. He not only resurrected Herbie but elevated him to unbelievable heights.....

    "Disappointed"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

    Better editing might have helped.

What could Stuart Woods have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Write more cohesively, and listen to the editor.

What about Tony Roberts’s performance did you like?

    I like his "Dino" !!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Extreme disappointment. I've read or listened to nearly all of the Stuart Woods books. The more recent ones have become more and more disconnected, and have suffered increasinly from bad editing.

    "Woods Disappoints!"

Predictable, rushed, naïve … as if written by a child.
    Great narration though, as always.
