The story line itself was a decent listen-in-the-car story. The narration was truly awful--jerky, not "acted" at all--it sounded like it was being read by someone not used to reading for others.
This was the first audiobook that I listened to and my wife and I loved it. We listen in the car on road trips. We just started our second one Patricia Cornwell The Bone Bed and we almost turned it off twice it is very slow compared to
When Laura went to her husbands house and found the dead body and was accused of the murder.
Yes we were sad when we arrived at our destination and had to turn it off.
I would like to hear more by this author in the future.
Wow, story not bad (I think) but can't be sure because of the frequent first aid to my bleeding ears interrupting the storyline -- all due to the HORRIFIC narration. Please, no more!!!! She makes all male characters sound like whiny 5-year olds. And makes a competent female surgeon sound more like a blonde bimbo.
