Twelve Sharp has twists that will drive readers wild and prove that once again, for sheer reading entertainment, no one tops Janet Evanovich.

"Countless over-the-top scenes...will delight longtime fans." (Publishers Weekly)
This narrator is the best. Her change of voices makes you believe the characters. After my first listen of this series, I stopped reading the books and listen to them instead. I really enjoy Lulu!!
Starting from the beginning of the Plum series, this is one of the best plots. The dialogue and characters are always so much fun!
I LOVE Lorelei's performances. Her character voices are wonderful and I could never listen to a Plum book read by anyone else.
"Did somebody step on a duck?"
Yes, good story well read. Seems to be a much more serious storyline than the usual flit and flutter. Nice to have Ranger be the center of the story.
Seeing the more human side of Ranger was a treat. The great man does have another side, for the right reasons.
When Morrelli saves Ranger.
Is Ranger married? Picture Sally Sweet, Lula and Grandma Mazur in a band. Now to that image picture the costumes that Lula puts together for them to wear. That should give you some genuine belly laughs. This is on top of all of Stephanie's misadventures and mishaps. This is such a fun and funny series that I can't give it anything less than a 5.
There is nothing better than a picture painted with words to stir the imagination to feel, see, long for and even smell when done well!
Love all the character interaction and my favorite performance by a grandma! I am considering joining the band myself just to wear inappropriate clothes.
Fun characters, mundane dialogue making tense situations hilarious and plot twists
Once the plot was initially developed, there were appalling consequences at any time, both for the romantic and criminal sides.
She brings a depth to each character that resounds and makes them plausible, even when I have trouble believing that's possible.
No. I spread it out over a couple of weeks.
I really liked the inside look an Ranger's life and backstory. It would have made a good ultimate or penultimate chapter to the series. Unfortunately the books just got worse and more ridiculous from here on out.
Some of the side characters voices have begun to get ridiculous
This is the last book where Stephanie Plum is a likable character.
