The first is often one of the best
Nice to know how Jack started his roam. So totally enjoyed this book and even though I have read many other Jack Teacher books it is great to know there are more to enjoy.

Good book but some strange quirks from Lee Child
I have listened to all of the Jack Reacher books. In a few of the books, Lee Child takes an idea and just repeats it over and over again until I am completely annoyed with it. In Tripwire, he'd have a character say something, then repeat exactly what they said and note "he said again". If you were to count the phrase "said again", I'll bet you would find them 1,000 times in the book. And count only the word "again", I"ll bet that repeated at least 2,000 times.

Excellent story read excellently
Nice twist near the end, but logical once you think back on all the clues. Loved the love interest aspect of this story, especially after the last Reacher novel in which he loses a woman who is clearly a soulmate. Some of the exposition about 80% through the story got a bit long in the tooth, but what comes after makes it worth slogging through.
Narrator is fantastic. Does lots of different accents and female voices in ways that work seamlessly. See if you don't agree that his effect on the character of Victor Hobie is genius.
