Publisher's Summary

Jacobia Tiptree saved her sanity - and her son, Sam - the day she abandoned Wall Street for the seacoast village of Eastport, Maine. In her new home, a charmingly dilapidated fixer-upper, she looks forward to repairing old radiators and restoring antique shutters for years to come. But Jake's hopes of serenity are dashed when tiny Eastport erupts in a crime wave.

Hometown bad boy Kenny Mumford - old flame of Jake's best friend and fellow sleuth, Ellie White - is the first victim. When his corpse washes up on the beach at Prince's Cove, all evidence points to a drowning...except the bullet hole in his forehead. When bodies begin littering the Maine scenery, Jake and Ellie learn that the ante on Kenny's small-town antics has been upped.

Add a pair of unwelcome arrivals - Jake's ex-husband, and an unscrupulous New York ex-money mogul - and you've got a blueprint for more deadly danger than one old house can hold.

"Second in the series and looking forward more"
Would you listen to Triple Witch again? Why?

Yes, great book, a lot of detail

    Any additional comments?

I like this kind of book, not too heavy, good humour, enough of a mystery to keep you going.

    "Good Continuing Series"
If you could sum up Triple Witch in three words, what would they be?

Good second book to the series. Person narrating does well also, plan to listen to all the books in the series.

    "Entertaining"

I have read the first and second book of this series and will probably read the third. If I have nothing else to read. While it is entertaining, there are things about the book that is annoying. While Jake and her family are well developed characters, many of the other characters seem to fall into stereotypes. I know that small towns are prone to gossip, but I wonder if people in Maine all have guns and tend to be closed mouth about their feelings and family. It sounded like Graves was talking about a small town in the Appalachians. I guess that is a stereotype that I have about that region. Also, the tie with New York should be cut. Is this the only town in Maine that people from New York want to? And does Jacobia have to know them? I thought New York was a big city. Anyway, it was a good story. I like the developments with Jacobia's family. Like I said I will read another book in this series.

    "okay"

This is the 2nd book in the series. I wish audible would get the complete series instead of bits and pieces. I still looking for crawlspace. It's the type of audio book for a "COLD WINTER" night! And the narrated Lindsay Ellison has an excellent voice for the series.

    "Help!"

I buy books with the concept of finishing them...and I may have finished this one I am not sure as I kept falling asleep. The narrator is boring and her voice sounds just old enough that I pictured the main character as a house frump..if I wanted that I would just call my mom. I had trouble caring about the characters as they were never properly cared for by the writer. It seemed that people came and went without me getting to know them, like a check-out counter. I dont recommend this book unless you need a nap.
