References are made to delivering product, and a house in the islands, and someone named Keener who’s supposed to look like an OD. It doesn’t take long for a naked and vulnerable Peabody to realize that both officers are crooked - guilty not just of corruption but of murder as well. Fortunately, the two clear out of the locker room without realizing there was a witness.

Eve Dallas may have trained Peabody well - but this is too dangerous for one person to take on alone. Now Peabody, Eve, and her husband, Roarke, must try to get the hard evidence they need to bring the dirty cops down - knowing all the while that the two have already killed to keep their secret, and are no doubt willing to do it again.

One of her best!

I was disappointed with the last couple of "in death" stories that came out. I was beginning to fear the series was drying up, but "Treachery" is one of the best!

Amazing

J.D. Robb and narrator Susan Ericksen continue to amaze me!! With each and every "In Death" book Robb continuously keeps your attention and is so consistent with involving most if not all of the main characters. The evolution of the characters is so much fun! Susan Ericksen never falters with the voices of the characters. It amazes me how perfect she becomes each one! Fantastic!!!

Good Story, But.......

Maybe it's just me, but I really found the narrator annoying. On a couple of occassions, I actually had to stop listening. Frankly, I wasn't sure if I could get through the entire book.

One of the best "In Death" books!

This is one of the best In Death books! Entertaining storyline that will keep you listening. Nora and Susan Ericksen - the dynamic duo!

Treachery in Death

Robb writes a good book and this is his type of book. If you read his books you will recognized the characters and this book is his style. enjoyed reading this book- not great but good.

As always I love the performance by Susan Ericksen. The book was so wonderful.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I get audio books to help me sleep ( its like being read to sleep by someone) This book had a plot so good i didn't want to sleep i just wanted to lay in bed and listen.

Which character – as performed by Susan Ericksen – was your favorite?

Roarke... oh my... the way she add the acsent adds to the book. Also the was when she reads the tender loveing moments she moments she uses a soft loving voice. Susan Ericksen is the best and only narrarator for the whole series.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed at a few part another favorite of mine... some humor add... As always i hate to see (or in this case (hear)) the end. Always wanting more

Would you listen to Treachery In Death again? Why?

This book has all the great tid bits you look for in an In Death book. It has humor, suspense, romance, and a great plot. It gets better every time I listen to it.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This one is more about personal relationships than solving murder.

my favorite one yet!

I love all of the in death books, but this one was my absolute favorite. Eve Dallas is so great.

Finally Peabody Gets Her Chance!

This is the best so far! Peabody is coming into her own and Dallas and Roarke are there to support her. I eagerly await each new installment and they do not disappoint! Susan Ericksen is the perfect narrator for this series! I dare say the next In Death book may even top this one!
