Unexpected plot twists and really well done. Lisa Gardner is always a great read.

I found the premise gripping and compelling. I got a bit confused with some of the characters in regards to the husband's business... but probably my own fault, trying to listen while doing other things. I enjoyed the presence of the character from her earlier book "Love You More" - she had intrigued me and I hope she shows up in future books. Recommend it!

Holy sh*t!

Excellent book from start to finish, definitely one of her best. The end is jaw dropping even for the most seasoned of suspense readers.

Thriller

Great book with lots of plot twists that kept me listening....the narrator did an excellent job.

Great story with a view of human nature we often avoid thinking about

While I enjoyed the story of love, honor and trust gone bad that this book tackles it was a bit long winded at times and somewhat predictable in the end. I do admire how Lisa Gardner delves into the human mind to tackle the truths and untruths we all can tell ourselves at times. We are all broken in some way, that's what's makes us human I guess.
And the narrator does a great job with personalities and accents!

Started slow but ended explosively

I listen to this book on a very long road trip it started off a bit slow I actually even fast forward through a couple of chapters I’ll admit but, towards the end it really got interesting and the ending itself was phenomenal. I definitely recommend this book

Great Read

Really enjoyed this book. So many twists and turns. When I thought I had it figured out, I discovered I did not. It was also great to revisit some of my old detective friends!

Great story mostly; didn't care for the narrator

For this to be the second book in the Tessa Leoni series, it was odd to have the performance have her accent completely change from the first book. Although this time her accent was more "Boston" than the first, it just didn't feel like I was listening to the same person. The story was great and kept me interested. I felt like the ending got a little lazy with the way she wrapped it up and it could have been a bit more creative. Overall, I liked the book and would recommend it it to a Lisa Gardner fan.
