Tick: a killer's countdown begins
A rash of horrifying crimes tears through the city, throwing it into complete chaos and terrorizing everyone living there. Immediately, it becomes clear that they are not the work of an amateur, but of a calculating, efficient, and deadly mastermind.

Tick: Michael Bennett is on the chase
The city calls on Detective Michael Bennett, pulling him away from a seaside retreat with his 10 adopted children, his grandfather, and their beloved nanny, Mary Catherine. Not only does it tear apart their vacation, it leaves the entire family open to attack.

Tock: your time is up
Bennett enlists the help of a former colleague, FBI Agent Emily Parker. As his affection for Emily grows into something stronger, his relationship with Mary Catherine takes an unexpected turn. All too soon, another appalling crime leads Bennett to a shocking discovery that exposes the killer's pattern and the earth-shattering enormity of his plan.

Another great listen!

I really loved listening to this book along with the other three books in the Detective MIchael Bennett series. The story and readers were excellent in all of them. This is one of my favorite series of books. This series is good to listen to in order because of the character and family situation development. Also because all the books are so good that you don't want to miss out.

RIGHT ON PAR WITH ALL THE MICHAEL BENNET STORYS

Would you consider the audio edition of Tick Tock: Michael Bennett, Book 4 to be better than the print version?

YES, AS THE STORY IS JUST BETTER THAN AVERAGE, BUT THE READER BRINGS THE STORY ALIVE IN A WAY THAT MAKES YOU PART OF IT. THIS MAKES THE STORY WAY BETTER THAN AVERAGE.

Have you listened to any of Bobby Cannavale and Scott Sowers ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

YES AND THEY ALWAYS DO AN EXCELLENT JOB, IN BRINGING THE STORY TO LIFE.

Wonderful vist with the Bennett family

Michael Bennett the most notable cop on the police force, once again is juggling his family needs and the needs of New York City. His grandfather resorts to the ways of the past to resolve a family problem and Mike must decide if and with whom he will have a romantic relationship. If you love the Bennett family, you will love this one.

Enjoyed...

Good listen, liked the different narrators...fast paced. Would like Michael B to make up his mind about the poor nanny tho.

I thought the story was very intriguing and kept my interest in anticipation of the next steps the Detective would take given all the odds against him.

Two voices...nice touch!

First time with mixed narration. One for the bad guys, one for the good.
I like this idea...especially with a Patterson book with much of the story in narrative.

Nasally narrator

It’s really hard to listen too. I wonder why this narrator was used. Extra bad when performing women’s voices. Better to read this book then listen to it.
