Publisher's Summary

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back. The brassy babe in the powder blue Buick has been given the unpopular task of finding Mo Bedemier, Trenton's most beloved citizen, arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, gone no-show for his court appearance. Once again, the entire One for the Money crew is in action, searching for Mo, tripping down a trail littered with dead drug dealers, leading Stephanie to suspect Mo may be in over his head.

Don't forget the rest of the Stephanie Plum series.

    "So Far, So Good!"

What I liked about Books 1 and 2, I like about Book 3.

Repeating myself from previous reviews: “It’s far from being a page-turner, but it’s so entertaining that I don’t care how plausible (or not) the plot turns out to be. I like the humour and Stephanie’s acerbic sarcastic streak is terrific; I’m in it purely for the enjoyable distraction.”

I do have to say that the novelty is wearing off a bit, so I’m not sure how much longer I will hang in there… or perhaps I won’t bother with every single instalment and just skip to the latest releases…

    Meh, it’ll be a mood-thing!

    "She does it again!"

If I were actually reading this book, is never sleep, go to work or even leave the house... Ever!
Good thing for this audiobook feature because I can take Stephanie with me everywhere!
And I have to say CJ Critt (the narrator) does an EXCELLENT job bringing you into Stephanie's world.
    You'll never want to leave!

    "Love Stephanie!"
Would you listen to Three to Get Deadly again? Why?

Yes. It's a fun story that helps pass the time.

What other book might you compare Three to Get Deadly to and why?

    I'm not sure.

Which character – as performed by C. J. Critt – was your favorite?

I'm torn between Stephanie, Lulu and Morelli.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    No idea

    "Worth a listen"

Evanovich is a good author. I like how the characters are developing. There's enough of them to keep it interesting. Still don't like Critt (narrator). Too old, too slow and breathes too loud. I do like the discernible voices though. Really disappointed two of the early books aren't available on Audible (I think it's 5 & 6). Stephanie is definitely a fun character. Love that it all takes place close to my neck of the woods (NJ).

Really good read. Car issues are funny and the noises the voice makes. Didn't like the voice at first book but she grows on you. I just started third series two weeks ago and I am listening whenever I get a chance! Even in the shower!

    "Where Did Mo Go??"
Would you consider the audio edition of Three to Get Deadly to be better than the print version?

I read the book many years ago and love the book then and I love the reading now.

What about C. J. Critt’s performance did you like?

The characters got stronger and even more defined.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Where Did The Candy Man Go

    Any additional comments?

A relaxing, quick paced, and funny story. You'll enjoy it.

    "This is fun!"

These are some fun adventures. Plum is always screwing up, but she remains lovable and her cast of characters are becoming more 3 dimensional with each episode. You get a good look at Lulu this time around as she steps up to become Stephanie's hench(wo)man. Nothing too deep, just the right thing for relaxing entertainment when you have some down time.

"Ms. Evanovich has the character down"

I began reading the 2nd series and liked it so much I thought I'd try this Stephanie Plum series.
I'm a 60-year-old guy, the first book really sounded like a book written to the woman's personality. I had a hard time with it.
The second book brought me closer to Stephanie/Stefeni Plum and getting a feel for it.
I really enjoyed this third book. I found myself liking the cast of characters. Many times I found myself laughing.
I'm looking forward to reading book four.
