This book was in my Recommendations list - thank you Audible for suggesting this title. I was intrigued by the plot, charatcters, and narration. I have already added other Gregg Hurwitz titles to my library... and if they are only half as good as this one, I will still be one satified listener.

Hurwitz is good

I’ve listened to all Orphan X novels. This just as good, though very different. Would have liked an orphan x appearance. Narrator Scott Brick is perfect for Hurwitz novels. I enjoy his tone and cadence.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes - I found the "experience" of the story and Scott Brick's narrative compelling and addicting to keep me engaged and wanting more.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I didn't see it coming - which I like - and I let the story take me there in a very effective way

Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Scott Brick is consistent to say the least - It certainly compliments the story when someone of his caliber is at the helm of the read

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think we've all felt frustration, even helplessness, when circumstances spin out of control. There were plenty of these moments.

Gregg H is one of my favorite authors. I have enjoyed all his books. This one was kind of hard to believe.
Still worth it.

Very entertaining

I liked this book very much. I thought it was fast paced and believable as thrillers go. Intricate without being drawn out.

It started off a little slow but wow what an ending! I drove six hours and stayed in the car an extra twenty minutes just to hear the ending.

great read

loved it. a lot of reviews said bad things but I really liked it . I'm glad I went ahead and got it enjoyed the entire book start to end. go ahead and get it.

They're watching...

A good story that builds up continuously until the end. The author probably finds himself in a pickle as to how to get our protagonist out of the jam. I found the answer to that question a bit contrived. It enjoyed the story nonetheless.

Entertaining

I am a big Scott Brick fan...which I why I chose this book. there weren't as many plot twists as some of the reviews as stated however the book was enjoyable to listen to and once started really hard to put down.

Never written a REVIEW before, but here goes :

As always, Hurwitz' writing is masterful.
Story is a little too complex for me.
Too many names, organizations, etc. to keep track of. But, I never tire of the way Hurwitz describes every detail...in so few words...a beautiful tapestry of letters that together create an intricate picture in the 'mind's eye' of exactly what he wants us to see, and feel. He is my very favorite author! (and my favorite of his books, thus far, is THE SURVIVOR)

And Scott Brick! There are NO words that can describe my admiration of his ability to tell a story. Whatever the words on the page...he is able to bring them ALIVE for the listener like no other! His timing, the emotion he is able to convey, and his VOICES!! Just amazing. Whenever I see his name, I know I am going to LOVE this next experience...whatever the story :)
