Amazing!

immediately bought the second book after reading the first one. I couldn't put it down!

Wow

First time reading this author and with narrator. Loves it. On with #2. Laughed at antics.

Pretty Good

I related to the character's marital situation and had no problem with the word "womb" as other reviewers apparently did, as it fit with the storyline. The main character does something in the beginning that I had trouble with but was necessary for the ending. Her unconventional friend (a ghost) almost made me stop listening, as I do not like "spooky" stories, but she was cute. It was a fun listen while working around the house.

This was a interesting new series. A little different. But, I liked it. As I read it really grew on me and I found myself laughing. Looking forward to the other books.

Could have been fun, but too slow

The story was fine, but the narration was so slow it made me sleepy. And I don't understand why the word "womb" was said sooooo many times. Weird.

This could have been more enjoyable if the narration was more lively.

Funny, cozy mystery and a ghost???

A funny & twisted story that kept me reading! Many characters including a ghost but I could keep them straight. Had a little sex and violence but not enough to turn me off. Who wanted what? That is the question throughout the book. Great book and a fun read. Will read on...

narration good if listened to at a slightly increased speed... southern drawl bit too slow...good mystery... didn't guess until exposed

Murder in Mississippi

This book started out kind of slow and I almost stopped listening. But I continued and really enjoyed it. There were several plot twists and so many well developed engaging characters. I truly enjoyed this book. I look forward to listening to the rest of the series.

Good entertainment

Enjoyed this story. I could listen to this narrator all day and night. Love the old ghost. Sounds like my old grandma. Will definitely buy the next book.
