NOW A NETFLIX ORIGINAL SERIES!

The bestselling author and creator of the hit Netflix drama The Stranger takes listeners into the heart of family loyalty in this twisty thriller that proves that the darkest secrets are often closest to home.

Paul Copeland, a New Jersey county prosecutor, is still grieving the loss of his sister twenty years ago - the night she walked into the woods, never to be seen again. But now, a homicide victim is found with evidence linking him to the disappearance. The victim could be the boy who vanished along with Paul's sister. And, as hope rises that his sister could still be alive, dangerous secrets from his family's past threaten to tear apart everything Paul has been trying to hold together....

Keeps you guessing until the last page

It was one if the best mysteries I have read in a while. Every time I thought I had figured it out, a new twist happened.

Wow

Incredible- a 5 except some of the last few chapters were too lengthy with too much technical detail- drug on too long
That said, I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who likes a great mystery!

Harlan Coben doesn't disappoint

Coben reliably brings a story full of intrigue, suspense and mystery. Scott Brick, as always, is the perfect narrator for this type of story.

Story kept me riveted even though I figured a lot of it out before it was revealed. I really like Scott Brick's narration! I have heard him many times and continue to be impressed.

Kept my interest all the way through.

Voice of the narrator was very soothing. First time with this author. I'll try another.

Good story!

The Woods was a good listen! I would love it if it were read by a different narrator. Brick sort of reminds me of the cheesy sitcom detective from New York or somewhere. It can be hard to listen to it. The story line redeems it and the story travels well.

The ending, although somewhat incomplete, was satisfying. I like that I can decide how I wanted the story to end. That may irritate others but I think the typical ending would have somehow ruined the story for me.

I will definitely listen to this author again... and cringe through it if the narration is always from Brick.
