Skilled writer with no time management...
The story is told in a way that keeps you hooked on the possibility of discovering the truth behind a mystery years in the making without recieving any real information.(there is the skill) unfortunately, after all the details are revealed which happens extremely quick and way towards the end I was less than satisfied with the overall outcome. I could have bought it if the same effort was spent running the characters around in circles... Maybe...

Always entertained by Harlem Coben
however, this wasn't my favorite of his stories. The plot kept me interested, but the story seemed uneven and ended abruptly. Scott Brick is one of my favorite readers, but even his performance seemed off. Maybe it's me.. At any rate, I will continue to read Harlan Coben, and listen to Scott Brick!

Mysterious Woods = fun listen
Excellent listen, it's always so easy to get into and through Coben's books with his laid back writing style.
I was definitely entertained by the mystery surrounding what happened in those woods. There were so many moving parts and they all worked together nicely to keep me intrigued until the finish.
Not a fan of Brick's narration normally, but I thought this was a pretty good performance.
