    "Ho Hum"

Narrators can make or break a good book and what we consider good narration is certainly a matter of choice. I advise you to listen to the sample first before spending your credits. If I took my own advice, I'd still have a credit to spend! While he does a good job switching between characters, I find the overall narration flat and more like listening to a weather report. The story is interesting but it's been pure torture listening to this narrator. I'm halfway through the story and I can't listen to one more word. Nails dragging across a chalk board - you know?

    "Another Good One!"

Kellerman is always a good read - and the narrator is just terrific. I could listen to him forever. Kellerman's books always have such interesting characters and I love his girlfriend Robin. He writes with a great sense of humor too!

    "Most Boring in the Series"
What disappointed you about The Web?

The first 60% of the book was pointless, could have covered it all in a single, short chapter, finally picked up at the end, but by that time, I didn't care much

What was most disappointing about Jonathan Kellerman’s story?

Dull as a plumbing convention, it was well read though. If you skip any in the series, this is the one

    "Least favorite AD book."

I have read (listened to) many books in this series and I was dissappointed with this one. It's definitely my least favorite of the series.

    "Excellent Listen"
If you could sum up The Web in three words, what would they be?

    Tropical quirkly thiller

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dr. Bill - full of surprises

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

This narrator is not as good as John Rubenstein

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    yes

"Kept my interest but not his best"

HUGE fan of the Alex Delaware series. This one focuses on Alex and Robin - on a faraway island and it starts out OK but really became much too unbelievable as it proceeded. Held my interest and I didn't put it on double speed but did think about it. I was just trying to fill in the books from this series I hadn't read/listened to you. So I can check off "The Web" now :)
