Great start to Series

My sister told me about this series and how wonderful it was so decided to order for our road trip. I was not disappointed, just ordered the next one.

Ms.’s Pollifax is a fun read-

While the story tests ones ability for the reality of the situation it is nonetheless a wonderful story, family friendly read.

Polifax is a gem

Ms. Rosenblat's performance is greatly improved since the Amelia Peabody series. I was a tad worried however her reading has not taken away from or distracted the story. well done.

an unlikely hero

the story was fun and kept my interest. 50 years later, it is a bit dated, but I loved the fact that a woman in her 60s could be a heroine.

The Unexpected Mrs Pollifax

Excellent book. The narration was great & the characters came to life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who thinks "old people" have no value. I want to be just like Mrs Pollifax when I'm that age. Sweet, feisty & unstoppable ~ she's an elderly super hero. 😃

Yes.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mrs. Polifax was my favorite character because of her simplicity. She was a normal person with a normal train of thought placed in absurd circumstances. Her sense of humour about life was what made the book.

What about Barbara Rosenblat’s performance did you like?

Ms. Rosenblat has an incredible gift for voices. She was as believable as any of the male characters in the book as she was as Mrs. Polifax. Her intonations were spot on.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Happiness, laughter, and getting in touch with my sense of adventure.

I would recommend this series to anyone who loves mysteries with well-developed charachters. I will likely read the entire series.

I'd never heard of this series and was intrigued at the first clip I heard. Now I am so sad that it is over, and I don't have the next one to start right now. Mrs. Pollifax is one of the most likeable characters I've ever met, and I can't wait to read more.
