Suspenseful!

I think I liked this Agatha Christy mystery so much because I figured this one out before the end.

Brilliant narration of a excellent whodunit

A classic christie with lots of twists and turns. Enjoyed the pace and the great atmosphere; and of course, it was a pleasure to hear Captain Hastings narrate it!

Highly recommended

So engaging

Very quick to get through, and the characters are all vwry likeable. The narrator is clear and denotes character voices well.

Agatha does not disappoint

This story is shorter than many of the other Christie novels. Perfect for a quick road trip. Hugh Fraser delivers a great performance. Highly recommend!!

An Agatha Christie I’ve Never Read!

How have I missed this one! I didn’t think there was a single word she’d written that I hadn’t read. Great story!

Wow!!!

This was really something else! Great story, fantastic narration. Another winner by Agatha Christie, and narrated by one of the best narrators of her works. Shorter novel but definitely worth the credit I used!

Unexpected, indeed!

What did you love best about The Unexpected Guest?

At the outset, let me say that this was a totally logical ending, and should have been expected. Yet, with Mrs. Christie's tales, there is always a soupçon of doubt, right up to the last minute.

What about Hugh Fraser’s performance did you like?

Mr. Fraser is always excellent! I have never heard him give less than a stellar performance, whether by reading, or on the telly or cinema. My compliments and thanks.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Things are seldom what they seem...or are they?

A little silly but fun

Some of the story jumped ahead in an improbable way but it was fun nevertheless with a surprise ending!

An awesome short mystery treat for a cold night

Another fine classic tale of suspense with all the twists and turns of a novel wrapped in a short story!
