Media-savvy Chief turns out to be an easy assignment for Melina. But the following morning, police arrive at Melina's door with the worst possible news: her beloved twin has been murdered, and on the walls, scrawled in blood, are obscenities directed at Gillian, along with insults that indisputably link Chief to the crime.
Dissatisfied with the official police investigation, Chief and Melina form a grudging alliance. Striking out on their own, they uncover more questions than answers, and are eventually led to the threshold of an inner sanctum, where a megalomaniac lies in wait for Gillian's replacement, her identical twin: Melina.
A story that reveals the powerful, almost mystical bond between twins, a bond that compels a woman to go to impossible lengths to avenge her sister, The Switch defies every prediction.

"Sandra Brown is back in rare form with a complex and exciting tale that plays straight to all her strengths. Romance, suspense and danger...dynamite reading." (Romantic Times)
Sandra you did a good job with this book I hasd it at home and one day I took it off the book shelf to read the very first time and to how the book grabbed me I took four day to read it
in my spare time...superb...
I really enjoyed "Envy" so took a chance on this.
Cartoon characters and silly overblown improbable action of pure good vs pure evil for fans of this genre.
Mom to 3 boys, full time professional. Listen to 2 books a week in my car during a long commute. On the hunt for a good, gripping read.
The narration on this story is half panicked and half emotionless. It’s very strange. It’s as though everything is a question or an emphatic statement. The story is ok but Im having a hard time following it. Not as great as Envy, which was fantastic, but ok.
