Narator makes it sound like an episode of Dragnet
I love Lisa Gardner books but couldn't get past the annoying narrator's delivery. Voice didn't bode well with the plot....in my opinion.

The Message is Loud and Clear
I have never read a Lisa Gardner book before and the Survivor's Club was on my list as a highly recommended read. I normally don't listen to crime dramas; however, I really enjoyed the suspense in this fast-paced novel. The description of the rapes really brings home the fact of what an act of violence rape is (especially in this story) -- the author handled the subject matter with incredible understanding and empathy, yet getting her point across about the true nature of that hideous crime. The characters are well developed and it kept me listening raptly to all of the twists and turns that one loves in a good crime mystery. I plan on reading her other books now.

Exciting from beginning to end. Great character development. The best of the books by her to which I have listened. They were all very good, but this is her best.

Wow!
This is my first book by this author and it was awesome. The writing was crisp and descriptive. I felt part of the story. The narration was very good, again drawing me into the story. Totally recommend this book. I'm ready to start another Lisa Gardner book.

Well Written Story
A well written story, good cast of characters, and narrated really well. I really enjoyed the story, the angles it took, and would highly recommend it. It won't be an easy "I know who did it". A good listen/read.

good read
only complaint was audible showed very long chapters instead of listing all the individual chapters in between. I listen before bed and fall asleep listening, so it was hard to find my place. but good from start to finish

Great thriller
It may be an older book, but it was fantastic. So glad I didn’t pay attention to negative reviews, they are wrong. Definitely worth the credit.
