"Can't get enough of Lincoln Rhyme"
Another gripping yarn from a master of suspence. Thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to the next Lincoln Rhyme - a great character, brilliantly portrayed.
When the "doctor" is finally unmasked

"Probably a great story, but..."
Listening to the first 4 chapters I found it difficult to differentiate between the voices of all the character...they all melded into one unfortunately. So I shall now return it and find another Jeffery Deaver by a different narrator entirely. Jeff Harding is great reading the first two.
I had been disappointed in the last JD novel I read, this was better - but not up to the standard of his earlier novels which were really tense.
Lincoln Rhyme seems to be less sure of himself, and I rather liked his arrogance fuelled by knowledge that he was right. However, In this novel he seemed a bit gumpy and much ruder to his nurse, which I wasn't keen on.
Overall quite a good read though
"Brilliant Deaver again"
Having been to New York and visited China town I found this book gripping and fast moving. This book gave an insight into the world of the illegal immigrant who had left communist China to make a new start in the good country.the philosophy of the Chinese way of life was thought provoking. How Deaver comes up with such good books that keep you gripped from beginning to the end I don't know
Tom Lincoln Rhymms long suffering carer and the Chinese detective who came over from china to look for the ghost
First Adam Sims narrations I have listened to and I found him to be a masterful story teller
The Chinese detective talking philosophically to Lincoln Rhymme was very intense.
Buy it you won't be disappointed.
