Sid the Skeleton bones up on clues to solve a haunted house homicide in this mystery from the author of The Skeleton Takes a Bow....
What holiday could bring more warmth to a skeleton's chest cavity than Halloween? And when you're a living skeleton who's not supposed to be seen outside the house, it's a welcome chance to get some fresh air and rub bony elbows with people. That's why Sid doesn't mind wearing a full-body dog suit and going as Scooby-Doo along with Georgia Thackery's Velma to the Halloween Howl. Sid can't wait to go through the haunted house - but he gets rattled for real when a genuine dead body is discovered. Trapped inside as the police quickly seal off the crime scene, Sid makes no bones about dropping the dog suit and posing as an actual skeleton. This murder is a skull scratcher, but as long as Sid is on the inside, he might as well case the joint to figure out who used the cover of darkness to commit the perfect crime....

I am 71 year's old I listen to a lot of mysteries I like cute ones I really like the cozy mysteries I like Christmas mysteries and horror
More of them the skeleton was great loved him I hope this author gets around to writing mote
I'm still amazed at how entertaining this series is. I read all three books back to back and loved each one. The characters are engaging and likable. There were so many twists and turns in the plot that I did not guess the murderer. This is the best of the series and I can't wait for the next one to be released.
I read the first two books in this series and couldn't resist buying this one. This is a "fun" series, perfect listening for relaxation.
If you can accept the premise of a walking, talking friendly skeleton who lives with a University professor and her daughter, this might be just the book for you.
This is a "cozy". The pace is moderate. There is no explicit violence. It is an easy, but entertaining, read.
Love sci fi, faieries and the like. Werewolves beat vampires always
Sid haunts a home was invigorating......I couldn't put it down till I was done. I can't wait till the next book. I really like that you knew who done it but they kept finding all these little off shoots. Close a door and 2 open up!!!!!!!
THANKS FOR A GREAT LISTEN!!!!!
This book has a great story line. Its definitely a page turner. I love it. If you love a mystery, this is one to add to your collections.
Hello, I'm from Switzerland and love Cozy Mysteries. So very sad, that far too many cozies are not available on audible for me any more.
I very much enjoy this series with Sid as the skeleton family companion. Sid doesn't consider himself a ghost. And indeed there are some difrences between him and a ghost. He always has to hide in the armoir when someone knocks o the door. And I always hope all curtains are closed when he sits in the chair reading or watching TV, haha.
In this volume he has a chance to get some fresh air. That's why Sid doesn't mind wearing a full-body dog suit and going as Scooby-Doo along with Georgia Thackery as Velma to the Halloween Howl.
When a girl get's murdered at the haunted house, everybody except the Thackery's think the Scooby-Doo-Person must be the murderer.
Will Georgia find a way to get Sid out of the murder-scene without anyone noticing and if not Scooby-Doo, who is the murderer?
"this series is getting better."
enjoyable story with sid and Georgia looking for clues to find the murderer.
this story had more twists and turns than the previous 2 books. sid did a lot of the investigating through the night on his computer.
Katina katlin gave a good performance making the story come to life.
