Sarah Kelling and her husband, Max Bittershohn, are back in a whimsical whodunit involving a ghost - a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. When a friend's classic car disappears and a gardener is found murdered, Sarah and Max untangle a tapestry of Renaissance clues to ferret out the killer.

Some years ago I read several books in the Max Bittershohn and Sarah Kelling series. This title wasn't one of them, which pleased me. This is my favorite Charlotte MacLeod series and I'm hoping there are more "new" books to hear.
This book is poplulated by interesting, eccentric, genteel characters. Many of them are related to Sarah. It might be a good idea to make notes if you want to keep all the relationships straight.
Ms. Macleod's gentle humor helped to keep the story entertaining for me. The "mystery" is rather complex and had me guessing until the very end. The story opens at a Renaissance themed party. I don't know much about that period so I did some internet research on costumes so I could visualize them more clearly.
Narrator Andi Amdt does a fine job. The tone of her voice is pleasing, and her character voices are distinct.
This is an easy, entertaining "listen".
