I love Harry but this has Mickey also

What made the experience of listening to The Reversal the most enjoyable?

Voice is soothing not abrasive but keeps you interested.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The plot is not cookie cutter and I enjoyed having Harry and Mickey in the same book though it's more a Mickey than Harry book.

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked the courtroom scene when you discover something.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listen to the books at night before I go to sleep. Didn't want it to end.

Looking for another series as good as Harry Bosh or Jack Reacher, when I find it I'll let you know or if you know of one please tell me. Out of books!

Keeps you coming back for more.

Even though this book wasn't "action packed" I looked forward to listening to it whenever I got in the car. I love H. Bosch in Connelly's stories.

yes ~ I love the story, and would love to listen to it again if someone else read it

What did you like best about this story?

As always he keeps things interesting and I love the personal relationship he builds with the reader and the characters of the book... the story was great although the ending was kind of frustrating (although good ~ don't let me spoil it for you)

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Peter Giles?

ANY one except him!! Maybe I'm spoiled but I HATED the voice he used for Bosch, it was annoying after listening to other readers do Bosch so well. And he's SO old school cheesy / melodramatic in the way he reads. Also there isn't much effort placed into differentiation between the characters he's reading. I know it must be hard and I'm sure I couldn't do it so I suppose I shouldn't judge... but I will try very hard never to purchase another book read by this guy! I almost returned the book because it took me so long to get over how annoying it was to listen to him read it.

Any additional comments?

no offense to Connelly... he's perfected his niche and I love the stories, I actually hate how much I'm anxiously awaiting the next Bosch novel! I guess I'll just have to find time (which is so hard) to sit down with his other books instead of listening to them if they're narrated by Giles.

Confusing transitions

There were two separate major narrators in this book. There was no indication of when the narrators changed, and the reader’s voice did not change either so the listener was left to reach their own conclusions about who was speaking, based on the content.

Another Winner

Loved this story, Connelly never fails to reel you in and keep you on the hook. I recommend this to any fan of his work.

Quite terrible on Harry Bosch. turns him into something he is not, in my opinion

Great story - strange pauses

Really enjoyed the story overall. The ending seemed rushed. Very untimely pauses throughout. Threw off the flow of the narration.

I love his books and this was no exception! Narrators voice was great as was the storyline.
