One of the best of this Medieval Mystery series

I found this particular installment of the Gareth & Gwen Mystery series particularly engaging. With the royal court of King Owain in mourning and the regular characters itching for answers and relief from grief, Gwen’s father receives permission to venture out of Wales for answers to a personal mystery. Of course his son-in-law Gareth along with Gwen and her brother go with the Bard to Shrewsbury. There the sleuths are pulled into a murder investigation and ... here is where the author weaves a complex and engaging tapestry the has threads tying threads together in mysterious ways. There is enough depth in this story to satisfy, and then some. And, Laurel Schroeder’s narration is spot on Excellent!
