Easy read

Great story! I didn't lose interest. The characters were believable. Great story about underdog getting even in a good way.

Not bad, but not his best.

Know up front that this is total fiction, made up places, cases and all. Other than that, treat it like a story and enjoy the ride. A little predictable, but a fun, lazy listen.

A classic with the twists an turns you'd expect. A real page turner. Good narration.

Not a good John Grisham book

I expect a good propelling story when I read a Grisham novel. This book was very disappointing! It did not leave me wanting more. It bored me with all of the use of other characters and I didn’t even finish it. Come on John. You could do a lot better than this. Yuck

I really tried to like it

I don’t know If it was the narrator or the massive amount of first person narration or the pace of the story but this is not a typical John Grisham novel. I tried very hard but in the end I was bored. The narrator only seems to know one voice and all is other impressions of the other characters blend together so it’s difficult to follow. And there is a massive amount of overly detailed sequences that just seem to go on and on forever
