Lots of twists!

This book is one of Patterson's best. It had so many plot twists, I couldn't stop listening.

Fab thriller

Of course these two did it again , I can’t imagine not liking a book Patterson & Ledwidge would write together. It pulls you in right away and the portrayal of police officers is really spot on. It’s definitely worth the read or listen, never a disappointment.

Implausible Plot

I am a James Patterson fan but I must say that I was not too thrilled with this Patterson book. Without giving out any details, the plot was too far fetched. It made it hard to take the characters and the story seriously. I also did not care for the narrator. Her voice tended to be monotone and made listening to the book boring.

Mediocre writing, implausible plot

On the plus side the plot escalates quickly and dramatically. But... the writing is subpar (for instance, the word "suddenly" is used ad nauseum and there are lots of really bad metaphors). Also, the main character does so many stupid things, and by the end the plot was no longer even plausible.

Who really is the good guy?

This was an excellent book, I liked all the charters and enjoyed the complexity they each brought to the plot but discovering who they really were kept me glued wanting to know more.

Quick

The book kept my attention only because of the many plot twists. Fast paced and unbelievable, but better than many books I have read. Big fan of James Patterson and I would recommend his works to anyone!
