Involving Sam in her search, the two of them find that the Order of the Black Sun is actively in pursuit of one of Norse Mythology's greatest legends - Valhalla. Believed to be the prison of an ancient evil which could help the Nazi's rule the world, Valhalla becomes the focal point of Lita Røderic, a nefarious Aryan villain unmatched in mind or means.

Nina and Sam become involved with The Brotherhood, an ancient order of warriors sworn to protect the secret location of Valhalla. They realize that the relic the robbers sought is a vial containing an elixir of second sight, a precious key to the location of the earthly Hall of the Slain which Nina is entrusted with. However, when Sam inadvertently drinks the elixir, giving him visions of where Valhalla lies, he is thrust into the world of The Brotherhood along with Nina.

Now they are locked in a deadly race to find Odin's Hall before the Nazi's claim the powerful weapon within and destroy the free world to usher in the Master Race. Will Sam and Nina survive the perilous quest against the terrible Lita Røderic in her pursuit of world domination? Does Valhalla even exist? And if so, what lies inside that would bring about Ragnarok?

With the modern world in ignorant bliss, only The Brotherhood, the relentless knights of the Hammer, can save it from the dreadful fate of ultimate Nazi domination.

Best of the series so far

Story was well developed throughout the book. The jumps between character plots could still use some smoothing, but this is by far the best of the series so far. The narrator was clear and easy to understand, but sounded like he was a hosting the rose parade. His tone was always positive, with constant cadence and no inflections of tone or speed.

Good Series

Nana and Sam work together of who stolen Viking artifacts.They encounter different groups and brotherhoods, the history was good. As well as the adventure and action. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

What happened to the Scottish accent of two main characters?

The two main characters in previous books had a Scottish accent which has stopped on this book.

Not fond of the reader.

With all due respect to the reader, he read this book like an infomercial host. no emphasis on drama or exciting bits in the story. Everything seem to just run together. This was a very hard but to listen to.

The Quest for Valhalla

Sam and Nina was back at it again, but this time for the monster of Valhalla. They were still battling modern day Nazi. They had help from unusual group this time, a motor cycle gang made of modern day Valkyries and their male protectors. Preston W Child knows how to spin a yarn and keeps you enchanted. I cannot wait to start on book 5.

Ridiculous

The first couple of books in this series were pretty good, but have deteriorated with each new addition. This one is simply ridiculous. I couldn't wait for it to end.
