"[The Protector]... takes its place alongside the most innovative thrillers ever written." (Publishers Weekly)
This book is one exciting ride. It is well written with plenty of plot twists and decent character development. I loved it. It was hard to turn off the CD when it came time to get out of the car.
This author appears to have been paid by the word. He describes everything to the minutest detail - no matter how irrelevant.
The plot drags on and on with and ultimately makes no sense. I just wanted the book to end and uttered a sigh of relief when it was done. I kept fast-forwarding because I couldn't stand the never ending descriptions of irrelevant facts. I have no idea why this book has a 4.3 rating. It is one of the worst I've bought on audible.com!!
