Book three in the number-one best-selling adventure series
The treasure: At the end of the 13th century, Chinese Emperor Kublai Khan gave an Italian merchant unfettered access to his kingdom. The traveler was Marco Polo, and his journey would become legendary. Aided by a special passport that protected him throughout the land, Polo amassed unbelievable wealth and hid it before his return to Italy. To this day, the location of his treasure remains a mystery.
The mission: The Hunters - an elite group assembled by an enigmatic billionaire to locate the world's greatest treasures - are tasked with finding the missing fortune. Guided by firsthand accounts of Polo's travels, they quickly discover there are hostile forces willing to do anything to stop them from taking the riches from Chinese soil. Before long, the treasure hunt becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse that will rewrite history while taking the lives of many.
The prize: As the danger continues to mount, will the Hunters rise to the challenge? Or will the team be eliminated before they find Polo's treasure?

"The Prisoner’s Gold hits like a hammer, with intense action, suspense, and intrigue that echo to the very last page and beyond. Fantastic!" (Graham Brown, number-one international best-selling author)
The reader would have done better to no use the awful voices. By the time I got into the 2nd hour of the book I was ready to scream just read and drop the voices!!
I liked the book and for the most part the narrator does a go job, but his female characters all sound like valley girls. Which doesn't fit with the elite professional women in the story
This book was a so so story . It passed some time for me thats all
Vince Flynns or Stuart Woods New book
I enjoyed book 1 &2 in this series. This book is just another piece of the puzzle of this series but thats it !!
the way this book ended seemed to me like it was rushed and just thrown together to fit
depends on if i liked movie 1&2
Great continuation of the story, the characters are now developing and Cobb getting more into finding who is the big money spinner. I like how Chris brought himself into the book made me smile...and the peep hole in the door note: good to know...it did leave a bit of a cliffhanger, BUT I have to say please.....can we have a new narrator he is just awful and the female voices cring....
I'll never know if the book was good because the voices that the narrator uses reminds me of a Scooby Doo episode. There is that dumb musclehead and the Valley Girl Etc Etc. I'm sure the narrator was doing the job he was told however the author needs to step up and change the portrayal.
