Publisher's summary

Paris is stunning in the summer.

NYPD detective Jacob Kanon is on a tour of Europe's most gorgeous cities. But the sights aren't what draw him - he sees each museum, each cathedral, and each cafe through the eyes of his daughter's killer.

The killing is simply marvelous.

Kanon's daughter, Kimmy, and her boyfriend were murdered while on vacation in Rome. Since then, young couples in Paris, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, and Stockholm have been found dead. Little connects the murders other than a postcard to the local newspaper that precedes each new victim.

Wish you were here.

Now, Kanon teams up with the Swedish reporter Dessie Larsson, who has just received a postcard in Stockholm - and they think they know where the next victims will be. With relentless logic and unstoppable action, The Postcard Killers may be James Patterson's most vivid and compelling thriller yet.

A Must Read!!!

Excellent, exciting, edge of your seat thriller. And for those who don't have time to read this book, or just prefer audible versions, I can tell you without a doubt that this was one of the best audio books I've ever listened to. Easy to keep up with and loved the accents, music, and effects they used to add to the drama of the story. Excellent story for a movie!

Interesting Story Ruined

I had read this book in the past and enjoyed it, so decided to get the audio to listen to in the evenings while puttering around the house. Terrible choice!

The female reader (Kellgren) made it feel like it was a chore to read her parts - lots of sighs and she boredom in her voice. She made the female characters in her sections sound like "holier than thou" b***s.

Otherwise, the story is typical James Patterson.

Very engaging!

The story is well written and easy to follow. The narrators do a great job evoking the characters. It was hard to stop listening!

Great book

I enjoyed the movie which caused me to look for this book. The book absolutely blows away the movie. I love how the narrator switches based off which lead character is talking.

Main issue is the book has issues with chapter 135. Slowly breaking up/rushing.

A very interesting read. Drags a bit, but I liked the European setting. 4/5 word

Come on, James, Can you think of some new material

Attention writers, please stop writing abridged books and selling them at unabridged prices!!! $18.00 for 7:23 hour book? Same with "Private". I almost didn't buy them, however I enjoy James Patterson. Then, after I read this, I bought "Private". Basically the same storyline. Come on! Anyway, I enjoyed the story. Very well written. Would have given it 5 stars, however i am so tired of these guys taking advantage of we buyers, throwing out short stories and selling them at novel prices, just so they can pay for their homes in Newport Coast (Oh, wait, that's Dean Koontz), or wherever! Sorry, I'm venting.....

Well read, completely engrossing

Exceptional narration for yet another terrific Patterson novel. Unprepared for the accuracy of the accents involved. The story was exceptional and the book got me through about 50 miles on the treadmill without a second thought!
