"Simple and easy to get into , looking forward to the next ,"
My first Andy mcnabb and I enjoyed it , straight onto the next now without hesitation , think I'm gonna enjoy this mans stuff , narrator seemed to young but I guess it fits with the characters age and I enjoyed his style , a great listen , hope the rest are longer ,
"A matter of life and death"
The beginning dragged a little for me but once training was over, oh, my, word! What an adrenaline filled race to the end!
You watch these things on film and the heroes come home, but this is reality and not everyone comes home. And those who do, will never be the same again.
I could not put it down I the end and desperately wanted to know what happens when the pressure and danger kept mounting. When this you must trust are not trustworthy, what is left?
I am glad I persevered through training, it was worth it!
The narrator was adequate. He would not have been my first choice but succeeded in presenting the tension buildup.
"Great narration - typical Andy McNab story :)"
Andy McNab's attention to detail makes the story believable.
The narration really brought the characters to life - good fun.
The hardness of the characters shines through thanks to Jack Hawkins
Dangers surrounds you from all sides in the deserts of Afghanistan
