    "Impeccable"

The action-oriented espionage classics by Ian Fleming are always an enjoyable read, or in this case, listen. The audio is great, and the narrator's voice and accent create an enthralling, believable production of the literature.

    "Sexist, Racist, and Fun"

First of all, this is nothing like the movie. This is subtle signal that I didn't like the Roger Moore movie version of this book. There are a lot of ways you could describe this book including sexist and racist. Fleming was a man of his time. In some ways this reminds me of some sort of slightly grown up "boy's own" stories. However, I still greatly enjoy Fleming and Bond. Of all the Bond books, I seem to have devoured this the most quickly.

    "Typical Bond"

Typical Bond story, but the accents for some of the characters, especially the Americans, were very difficult for me to listen to.

    Any additional comments?

I worked my way thru all of the original James Bond stories, and I enjoyed them very much. Simon Vance is James Bond on Audio, just remember the stories are dated and if you are offend easy do not listen.
