Publisher's summary

It is now six years since the secret disaster at Jurassic Park, six years since the extraordinary dream of science and imagination came to a crashing end - the dinosaurs destroyed, the park dismantled, the island indefinitely closed to the public.

But there are rumors that something has survived.

Nothing like the movie

I watched all the movies and thought I knew it all. until I was told that there were books that the movies were based off on. this really helped me understand the movies more. loved it. so much science, great reading, and the story was captivating. wish there more!

Relevant even today

Hard to believe this was written in the 90s! All the ideas are still so timeless. Really interesting!

Pretty Darn Good

Listened to Jurassic park, and I think the original was best. The thing that did it for me was the ending. I was not a fan of the escape on the boat. Also lots of discussion in theory that doesn't pertain to anything in the story. Useless information filler. Overall though, very pleasant to listen to! Would still reccomend it to anyone.

WOW!

Again, I feel like we got jipped out of a better movie! This was an edge of your seat horror/thriller and I loved every moment!

Enjoyable and detailed.

the book moved slow and some points and the details were very deep. Wish the movie followed the book closer. I cared for the characters so much more.

Good, but JP was way better.

I had a little trouble getting into this one. Jurassic Park was just so amazing straight out of the gates and it really took a while to get going. once it did it was great but slow beginning for sure.

If only the movie was made like this...

Great book, I think Jurassic Park book was better than this one, but this was still a great book. Just a head scratcher how the movie did its own thing so completely different. I guess the way the first book ended is why some liberties were taken, but it could have been easily explained.

Don't worry if you didn't like the movie and hesitate, you'll really enjoy this
