Engaging, but feels inconsequential
Read very, very well. The story with its twists and turns were very good as well. However, things didn't feel like they had much impact when compared to the previous Langdon books.

Action Packed
If you liked Angels & Demons, you might appreciate this Dan Brown novel, which offers the same sort of labrynthine mystery and mayhem but on American soil.
Whether you buy into the symbology/beliefs ascribed to the Free Masons in this book, the puzzle that Brown places in the nation's capital city is nonetheless fascinating.

How does he know so much?
Dan Brown has once again thrilled me. And his extensive collection of minute yet important and sometimes secret facts is amazing! I'm left awed and feeling rather dumb. And his protagonist, once again saves the day and gets the girl. Gonna have to read it again.

Not Engaging
I listened to 25% of this story and then just wandered off to better books. Of course Dan Brown's da Vinci Code was outstanding. But this book just felt like a weaker version of the same old story. It was the same kind of bad guy. The other characters were not developing. Too bad, he is a much better writer than this.
