My least favorite Dan Brown book so far.
I see why they skipped this book when making the films. It was Ok, but was predictable and repetitive at times. It was pretty obvious who the bad guy really was the whole time, and some of the secondary characters weren't as likable as his other books.

Excellent Read
Dan Brown is a master historian, excellent Author coupled with an awesome narrator (Paul Micheal). I wanna listen to the book again. The peacock series sucked and it's a deservice to this great read. Hope Tom Hanks will make another great movie.

Awesome Story!
I know a lot of people look at Dan Browns books as “pop culture”, but he’s an amazing author. The Lost Symbol kept me at the edge of my seat the whole way through. Deciphering codes & figuring out mysteries... right up my alley. He didn’t end the book on a cliff-hanger like most other authors do. He ended it beautifully, leaving nothing to be wondered. 10/10 book!

My favorite Langdon novel
Listened to this to refresh my memory before the upcoming series (first read it in 2016). Though Langdon novels should be enjoyed for entertainment primarily, the novel inspired me to read and learn more about a variety of topics, more so than the other Langdons.
Though the book has its imperfections - it takes a few hours for the suspense to truly pick up, Langdon is (sometimes slightly annoyingly) more reluctant and closed-off than usual, and some areas of the narration can be a little cheesy (Sato’s voice) the story overall is a suspenseful ride and presents philosophical theories that are fun to ponder (even if they’re unbelievable). My favorite Dan Brown novel (followed by Angels and Demons). Recommended!
