Good Entry

If you like the series, you will like this entry. A deeper examination action of the main character and what makes him tick while he solves a murder close to home....give it s listen.

Best one in the series so far

It's strange, reading a series that has a few years on it. Cultural, and technological references aside, Heronimus Bosch is always good for an old fashioned detective story. And, there are usually a few surprises. I like the unlikable Harry.
Narration was a little slow, but good for distinguishing characters, and accents.

I'm listening to the Harry Bosch series in order and this book by far is the best. The story behind his mother's death ended with a satisfying conclusion. The LAPD shrink and his love interest added weight to the storyline. I did not think I would continue to listen the Bosch series but after this book I'm hooked.

Good listen

This was a typical Michael Connelly. I enjoy listening to his books as I have yet to listen to one that I do not like. I would saw that this was one that is an absolute must but it was enjoyable to say the least.

I am a huge fan of Michael Connelley and this book did not disappoint. The Last Coyote offers an insight into Harry Bosch's childhood that is essential to the remaining books. Nice twist at the end.

If you're a Harry Bosch fan and like me you started with the newer novels then this is a great read and gives you an insight into the man who became a detective.

Harry's Mom was murdered 35 years ago...

Harry Bosch is on a mission- to find who murdered his Mom when he was 11 years old. The police "investigated" but never solved her murder. Now Harry is suspended & in therapy after assaulting his commanding officer. So he is determined to find her killer. His quest leads him on a chase that he will never forget-and neither will the reader. I highly recommend this story even though my copy of the Audible book had issues with the narration.

CONNELLY NEVER DISAPPOINTS

Another great book. I feel like I know the characters personally. I'm sad about what happened to Pounds. Cant wait to read Trunk Music ..I'm trying to read in Bosch order; lol. Also, wonderfully read by Dick Hill.

The story telling was pretty boring and monotoned.

Dick Hill is one of the greats. He could read a phone book and make it sound interesting. This installment of the Harry Bosch series is gripping. saying anything more would give it away, but it is my favorite book in the series so far.
