good book

it was a good book and the fact that it's part of a series made me finish it, was disappointed with the ending, nit nearly enough for works for a Joe ledger story.

Great fun

This is my third in the series. All 3: complicated plots; good character development; and lovely doses of snark. Mr. Ray Porter does a great job 😁.

amazing book seires

I started this series like 3 days ago nd have been binge listening to the whole series... i very much recommended this book

love it great series

I really love this series I usually stick to reading zombie novels and the series has a little bit of everything for everyone I started reading a Dead of Night series and that's how I first read about Joe Ledger and mr. Church and after that I had to go back to the beginning and by patient zero and started the whole series really good reads even though they're not all zombies LOL thank you off to buy another book

My favorite so far

Where does The King of Plagues rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the best Joe Ledger book I've read so far in the series. I'm looking forward to moving onto the fourth book.

Maberry does it again!

in the third installment to the Joe Ledger series, Jonathan Maberry breaks out the emotional kiln and lights a flame! This is by far my favorite one so far as characters return, new characters blossom, and Ledger cracks some of the best one-liners of his time! Let's go Cowboy!

Great story, relentless!

Another great one. My 5th book from this author. As good as the story is, Ray Porter's performance brings it all together with his characterizations and flourish. I'd listen to Ray read the phone book and be fascinated by it.

3rd book and still kept my attention

the narrator does a great job reading the characters, and the characters are entertaining. if you like book 1 and 2, you will like book 3!

Joe Ledger is great! Ray Porter is the King!!

Loved it! One of the better Ledger books out there. They are all great, but this one is on the top!

Jonathan Maberry, Ray Porter & Joe Ledger!!!!!

Ray Porter brings to life the members of Echo Team and the DMS team. I can't imagine another person reading these books, it would feel wrong, like when they do a remake of your favorite movies, the new actors/actresses will never measure up! I really liked this book, it kept you on your toes, had so much going on at the same time, but you never got lost or overwhelmed, you still connected with each player. You HATED "The Spaniard", you FEARED Nickademous, you CRIED for the dead and CHEERED (rather loudly I might add) when the good guys finally got something right!! This is actually the 3rd Time I've listened to this book. I've listened to all of Jonathan Maberry's books and when I need to get my "Joe Ledger" FIX and am waiting for the next book, I will go back and listen to the series all over again. Keep up the AMAZING work!!!
