The Killing Moon: A Novel

No one in town knows for sure why Don Maddox remains in the small town of Black Falls, Massachusetts - or why a man with no law-enforcement background took a part-time patrolman's position on a police force more feared than trusted. What is known is that he has been asking a lot of questions in his off-hours about the cops' activities and about the recent incursion of crystal meth into the area. But why is he so concerned with the sudden disappearance of a local sex offender?

    "Boring"

Loved his other stuff (well the movie versions anyway). After 20 minutes I gave up. Dull.
