Publisher's summary

He's a charming con man and she's a dedicated FBI agent, and they're about to drive each other crazy . . . again!

The FBI had one demand when they secretly teamed up Special Agent Kate O'Hare with charming con man Nicolas Fox - bring down the world's most-wanted and untouchable felons. This time it's the brutal leader of a global drug-smuggling empire. The FBI doesn't know what their target looks like, where he is, or how to find him, but Nick Fox has a few tricks up his sleeve to roust this particular Knipschildt chocolate-loving drug lord.

From the streets of Nashville to the back alleys of Lisbon, from the rooftops of Istanbul to the middle of the Thames, Nick and Kate chase their mark. When they find themselves pitted against a psychopathic bodyguard and a Portuguese enforcer who gets advice from a pickled head, they decide it's time to enlist some special talent - talent like a machete-wielding Somali pirate, a self-absorbed actor, an Oscar-winning special effects artist, and Kate's father Jake, a retired Special Forces operative. Together they could help make this Fox and O'Hare's biggest win yet . . . if they survive.

Laugh out loud characters!

I love these crazy characters and the predicaments they get into. A good light read and some great laughs. The narrator is awesome too! Worth the credit, and ready for the next one!

Fox & O'Hare: Light and fun thrillers!

I finally got around to listening to The Job, the only book in the Fox and O'Hare series I had not read. For those not familiar with the series Nick Fox is the world's most audacious con man and Kate O'Hare is the FBI agent who finally captured him. Fox is now working with the FBI running scams on dangerous criminals to bring them to justice. Kate's dad, a retired ex-military man with lots of borderline legal contacts, plays a major part. There is also Willie a 50ish woman who craves driving any vehicle on land, sea or air without training or a license, a talent bit part actor, and others.

Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg are both excellent writers with lost of good novels. The collaborate in this series. The icing on the cake is having Scott Brick narrate.

Fun light read

Scott Brick does a great job. The story is light and fun and cheerful. The bad guys are evil but the authors don't dwell on the evil, instead the main characters are nice, adventurous, and have some depth. I like the characters and want to spend more time with them on their crazy assignments. My only complaint with this book is that it's too short because this story doesn't give us as much detail in setting up the con as I'd like. The plot is great, complicated and fun.

Addicting Series

I really can't get enough of the Fox and O'Hare series. All three of the books I have read out of this collection have been captivating and fun to read. I would highly recommend to those who enjoy light thrillers. Also if you enjoy the television series, "White Collar," I think you would love this book collection, as it is similar in that there is a FBI handler who takes care of a master criminal as they both work to take down bad guys.

Thoroughly enjoyed "The Job." I'd say it held my interest in its entirety. And it even had me second guessing how I thought it would end. Of course I love Nick Fox and Kate O'Hare's characters, what's not to love. But also the supporting cast are great as in all of the books so far.

My grandma is now hooked on this series as well!

Funny, adventurous and clever

story was a bit of a stretch in my opinion, but it is fiction afterall, so I can allow the authors some artistic liberty and suspend my disbelief for the Dynamic Duo, as i just love this series!
Fun, witty and clever, these authors, coupled with Scott Brick's performance are just an incredible treat! Dramady at it's finest!!
