    "He deserved to die!!"

A newly discovered author for me, but one which I am really enjoying. The Miss Silver series is great in that the language is good, the stories set in the early 1900s which means that the scene setting is also very interesting.

The author manages to sway the reader (well me, at any rate) as she builds up her characters. The herione (at first sight) appears to be a wishy washy girl - but she turns out merely to be another character in the end - the herione being someone much more deserving!! Good story which I would recommend to any murder mystery reader.

I hope audible manages to publish the rest of this series soon ... please!!

    "I love Miss Silver."

As always Patricia Wentworth doesn't disappoint. Great classic who dunnit with a romance thrown in to lighten the story. If you like classic crime give this author a try.
