A brutal crime.... A group of urban terrorists.... An investigation of dirty cops.... The leads in these supposedly unconnected cases have become tangled in some very ugly - and dangerous - knots. Now Special Operations detective Matt Payne and his colleagues find themselves fearing not only for their jobs, but also for their very lives.

I have listened to all of the WEB Griffin books, and have enjoyed every one, but the narration in this one is so bad I could not finish it. He sounds like a 10 year old reading in class. His reading is dry, and his version of the various voices is awful. They need to do a better job of editing their reades.
I usually enjoy WEB Griffin's books, however after trying to listen to this book several times - I gave up because of the poor narration
Having a woman read the book. Women can lower their voices, but when a man tries to lighten their voices, or try for a sexy, breathy woman's voice, it ruins it. It is almost comical the way this narrator reads the woman's part.
Matt Payne. Young cop, who is always having to prove himself.
Are you kidding? I want my money back.
Really nothing. However, there is a lot of profanity by people you wouldn't think would go into course longshoremen type cussing, especially by high society gals.
