I loved this book. The story kept my interest.
What did you love best about The House of Silk?
I liked the basic story and the way it was told. It kept my interest to the very end.

I had nerver heard Derek Jacobi before and loved his voice. He made me feel like I was there.

There were all my favorite and necessary to the book.

Parts of it made me laugh and parts made me sad. It was interesting to know that some things never change.

A Great Holmes Tale with a Wonderful Narration
I really enjoyed this book not only for the fabulous narration by Derek Jacobi but also the great writing style so reminiscent of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A great, fun book to listen to.

Narration was supreme. Cunning story
As a fan of mystery and detective stories I found this to be well written, intriguing and well worth the listen.
I disagree with it not being Holmes like. At least with the example of not being disguised when entering an opium den. That was clearly explained as to why Holmes did not wear a disguise.
I really enjoyed the book so much I listened to it twice.

Absolutely. Great story, fast action, unexpected ending.
What about Derek Jacobi’s performance did you like?
Excellent voice, beautiful accent and very engaging. Loved it.
