On New Year's Day, 1976, radio listeners were introduced for the first time to a former Chicago cop turned hard-luck private detective named Harry Nile, the brainchild of mystery fan Jim French, who created the 1950s-era character for a one-time-only broadcast. But audiences wanted more, and so began 26 years of episodes featuring Phil Harper as Harry.
Here are Harry Nile's cases from December 24, 1942, to October 1950. These are full-cast audio dramatizations.

I absolutely love Harry Nile! I wish Jim French was doing more. I love listening to tell stories while working outside or just sitting quietly at home.
Thank you Jim French and Pat French!
