Pleasant surprise!!

Would you listen to The Heist again? Why?

Yes! The plot is so detailed, and convoluted, that it definitely requires a second (and now third) listen.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I was amazed at the twists in the plot. The planning of the different cons required some concentration to understand everything that was going on.

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I LOVE Scott Brick! He did a great job with the different characters. The scene with the corpse flower was spot on!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I'm sure people passing me on the road thought I had lost my mind in several places! It is funny, plain ole funny at times.

Any additional comments?

I was hesitant to buy this since the last few Plum books have been less than what I expect from Ms. Evanovich. I guess maybe having a co-writer added some new energy to her writing. The plot is NOT at all believable, but it is intriguing and at times laugh out loud funny.

Wow, what a great book! There were lots of twists, turns, and a hint of a very hot future romance. My only complaint, if it can be called that, is that the author used "he said" and "she said" repetitively rather than more descriptive text such as "he roared," "he whispered," etc. Even with that very minor annoyance, I loved the start of what promises to be a thrilling series. I can't wait to start the next book!

enjoyed the story Miss some of fun would recommend this to anyone who just wants a good story to listen to parts that she had in the other books but still enjoyed the story

Loved this!

Another Evanovich win! Really enjoyed this book! There were a couple parts that were a little slower and some a little faster. But all n all I enjoyed it! Great narration! Loved the different voices for the characters. Ready to listen to the next up in the series! Would recommend if you like Evanovich, White Collar or Burn Notice.

This was brilliant, funny, and witty. There was so much sexual tension between Kate and Nick, I loved every second.  The narration done by Scott Brick was amazing. 

I cannot wait to jump into the next book.  I loved the Cons, the action, the danger and the comedy.  I think I may have found a new favorite series!...Sara

Light Fun Adventure!

Agent Kate O'Hara & Con Man Nicholas Fox create just enough friction to make the perfect team. The story is an enjoyable ride peopled with a colorful cast of characters. The narration by Scott Brick made it easy to follow the story & let the adventure unfold.
