Publisher's summary

Moving into a new home can become quite stressful. For David, it is the matter of juggling a new job, a mistress and a family at home. For Terry, it is the matter of making her new house into a home and recovering from a nervous breakdown. For Tyler, it is the stress of a five-year-old trying to fit into a new neighborhood with no friends. A move can be quite difficult on a child, so much so that a way for the child to cope is to have an imaginary friend. This is where The Folks come in.

You see Tyler not only has one imaginary friend but a whole group of imaginary friends that call themselves The Folks. Tyler meets The Folks the very first day he moves into his new room. When Terry, Tyler's mom, finds out about The Folks she becomes concerned. Terry's family, friends and even her own therapist tell her that it is a healthy way for Tyler to cope with the move. However, when accidental deaths begin to occur and Tyler, with his imaginary Folks, happens to know more than they should, Terry begins to wonder that perhaps The Folks are not so healthy after all!

Thats all Folks!

an Amazing story, hitting so close to home. except for all the creepy people. Tammy has a great way of telling this horror story, her characters come to life, the events and places described that your imagination takes over. For my first scary book. i look forward to reading another!

Entertaining...

It was a very good story line; very easy to understand and listen to. It made my commute enjoyable.

Creative...

I almost didn't get this one because I was afraid it would be a typical "imaginary friend" scenario. But, far from it, the author did a great job in having a story inside the story. I've listened to another one of her books and I like the way she writes. She writes a book that is realistic in the way people talk in every day life, her characters are normal and easy to relate to. As for the narration, people need to listen to the sample...what you hear in the sample is what you get. No surprises, no annoying music or sound effects, no weird accents, simply a woman reading the story like it sounds in the sample. If you like the way the sample sounds then you will like the narration and you might just be surprised with the story if you allow yourself to just enjoy the story for what it is....

interesting premise, poor grammar and narration

the description of this book hooked me, but the poor writing/grammar and equally bad narration killed what i'd thought was an interesting premise.
