Another thrill ride for Scot.

Another gripping thriller that keeps readers guessing with unforeseen twists along the ride. Harvath had his work cut out for him in this book.

Good Story Line

If you could sum up The First Commandment in three words, what would they be?

Entertaining; satisfaction;

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Seemed like everybody was out to stop Scot, and the way he was able to continue to move about to complete his personal mission without support from the person who owed his life to

Which scene was your favorite?

When the off duty cop acted on a hunch and stopped the bombing of the bar

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Knowing that our government acts pretty much the way the book laid it out if they want you out of the way

Any additional comments?

Needs to focus on the garbage happening within the current administration as there's plenty of storylines he can continue the series with

The story was a bit of a stretch, but Entertaining

What can I say, Brad Thor has a great imagination. Some areas seem to be a stretch and not make sense, but you quickly move on.

Weak premise

What made the experience of listening to The First Commandment the most enjoyable?

George Guidall as narrator

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The challenges faced by Harvath were very compelling, but the suspected cause of it all was a very lame and to me unbelievable.

What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?

He is one of my all time favorites. He'd be good reading the phone book

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Kept my interest and kept me listening

Any additional comments?

Not the best but a good addition to the Harvath series

Great Listen

This was my first audio book. I’ve read a few other Brad Thor books before this, but the audio book is definitely the way to go. George Guidall was fantastic and I was pleased to learn that he narrates many other Brad Thor books. The story is fantastic and Scot Harvath is a great character that spans across many books. Thor does a great job of going back to past books to remind the listener of the details pertinent to this one.

Another Solid Harvath Adventure

Any additional comments?

This is a really great adventure, if not for the overstretching of possible reality. It's one thing to ask me to believe that a top operative that has, time and time again put his life on the line for his President and country, and always come out on top might get away with a modicum of leverage and leniency. Crossing the line to downright defiance may be cause for serious ramifications. However, to take this same super-operative and go right to "wanted dead or alive" for treason. Really?
